AROMA AND PALATE:
Medium to deep ruby-red color. The aromas are oak-dominated but there is little of the dark primary fruit on show currently. The palate shows delicate red-fruits behind some coffee notes. Alcohol is balanced & good acidity on the finish enlivens the fruit, giving quite a long finish. Very tight at the outset, this is a nicely poised wine that needs to be given time to open
