Huddart takes its name from the street on which
Pulteney distillery is located, which in turn is named after Captain Joseph Huddart, a hydrographer who had provided maps and charts for the British Fisheries Society - the builders of Pulteneytown and its harbour. He was also for a period a Director of the British Fisheries Society. Inspired by Old Pulteney 1989, Huddart has been matured next to the sea, first in fine American oak ex-bourbon casks then finished in ex-peated malt casks
This deep golden single malt brims with mellow wood smoke and burnt toffee on the nose with subtle peat fire notes. Honey and crisp green apple lead to freshly ground spices and smooth vanilla.
